Media Coordinator
Muhammad Arif, known as Arif Mardanvi, is a professional with widespread knowledge of branding, media, and marketing, working as a Media Coordinator at Fakhar Zaman Academy. He has done his Masters in sports sciences and belongs to District Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Muhammad Arif is a former cricketer with almost 20 years of experience in cricket coaching, Management, and expertise. In the field of Media, he served as an anchor on different TV and Radio channels for a long period. He has managed many local and National sports events all over Pakistan, such as National games, Inter-provincial games, and youth games. He has also done many courses about different games like cricket, athletics, soccer, and hockey etc.
In cricket, he attended and passed a basic coaching course in 2000 at Arbab Niaz Stadium, Peshawar which was conducted by Pakistan Cricket Board’s most experienced Mr. Ali Zia. He was the instructor and Manager of Coach Education of PCB in 2000. In 2001, he attended and passed scorer workshops at Peshawar. Mr. Saqib Irfan was the instructor of that workshop. In 2002, he was a part of the basic regional course for cricket umpires at Peshawar. Late Said Ahmad Shah, the international test umpire was an instructor at that course. In 2010, he joined the renowned sports Magazine of the province “The Sport Plus” which is also registered with PCB and is still engaged. Mr. Arif managed the Mega Event for the magazine as a sports journalist for the 2nd and 3rd PSL season at UAE in 2017-2018. He covered various Domestic cricket matches in different cities of Pakistan like Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, etc.
Muhammad Arif’s success in the sports industry was facilitated by his love of business and competitive sport. He puts forth a lot of efforts to build and safeguard the brands of our elevation sports athletes and to find and negotiate high-level partnerships off the field.
He joined Fakhar Zaman Academy as a Media Manager in April 2022. With a particular interest in organizational culture, strategy, and sports governance, he has been beyond happy to become a part of this magnificent project by Fakhar-e-Pakistan Mr. Fakhar Zaman. He is currently running the “Fakhar Zaman Academy” YouTube Channel.
